Ghost of Christmas Past

Well, it's that time of the year again. The Christmas Holidays!! You know... that time of year where the Christmas spirit fills the air and people seem a little happier, smile a little more, laugh a little more and seem to help others a little more. Christmas.... most everyone's favorite time of year but for some... it's the hardest time of the year. The Spirit of Christmas doesn't seem to be the only spirit going around this time of year. It seems the ghost of Christmas past visits a lot of people early this time of year where they are remembering Christmas past with their loved ones who are no longer in their lives or no longer on this earth and for some .... bothWhile some are having a Holy Jolly Christmas, others only feel a Blue Christmas and no amount of Christmas Magic or Fairy dust can change that. It is what it is. So, how do you handle it when the ghost of Christmas past visits you? Some stay in solitude while others hide their pain behind the biggest smiles you've ever seen because they don't know any other way. Some help others as a mean to help ease their pain, others feed the hungry, help the elderly, and others... write a blog. For those who are missing their loved ones, there's nothing wrong with memories, missing someone and the times you had but remember... it's going to be okay, YOU'RE going to be okay. Even though it may not seem like it.. you will be okay! Remember, even though you're feeling depressed, sad, angry... remember you can't give in to what you're feeling or give up because of what you're feeling. Keep in mind that helping others will help you too! Just sayin.........

If it gets too hard.. remember you're never alone. You can always pick up a phone and call someone. If you think you don't have anyone to call or talk too.. you do! Do ever think you're alone because you're not. But most importantly... you have Jesus! He is as close as a whisper and ask him to save you and help and he will send the comforter.. The Holy Spirit. So before you give up.. give it to God or you can always call someone you know or the Center of Hope. Listed below!
