Message to the Body of Christ

Message to the Body of Christ
There was something that happened recently that needs to be brought to light. Now I have seen people downplay the prayer of salvation but the prayer of salvation also known as ‘the sinners prayer’ which is merely a guide for those who do not know how to pray or where to start but want to be saved. But the reality is, prayer is simply talking to God and having a conversation. I’ve recently heard someone say that the prayer of salvation doesn’t mean anything and is not being saved and that you would have to go through all kinds of things but that is not what the bible teaches and I was very upset because I had just brought someone to the Lord the night before and they were listening to a particular program and they went from happy being saved to wondering if they should be saved at all and the bottom line is this… you can say a prayer of salvation until your lips turn blue and it won’t mean a thing.  But… if you mean it with all your heart, then one time is all it takes to make all the difference. Now as far as having to go through all this stuff… that is no one’s place to say because everyone’s walk with the Lord is difference and we’re all called to walk our own path with the Lord. Although that person had great intentions it falls under the Matt 23:1-12 scripture that declares:
1
Then said Jesus to the crowds and to his disciples,
2
"The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat;
3
so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice.
4
They bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger.
5
They do all their deeds to be seen by men; for they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long,
6
and they love the place of honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues,
7
and salutations in the market places, and being called rabbi by men.
8
But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have one teacher, and you are all brethren.
9
And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
10
Neither be called masters, for you have one master, the Christ.
11
He who is greatest among you shall be your servant;
12
whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
I sat back and watched how people were getting upset and more discouraged rather than encouraged the longer this person continued to speak, The bible declares for us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling in Philippians 2:12 and as it is written; Romans 10:9 declares That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. In Jeremiah 17:10 it is made clear that God searches the heart and whether you’re saved or not, you’re still going to go through things so why not have someone in your corner while you’re going through it? Besides, If God is for you, then who can be against you? Romans 8:31
As followers of Christ it is our job to catch them and bring them into the Kingdom and it’s Jesus’ job to clean them and make them into how he already sees them. If you want to be saved or even simply rededicate yourself to Jesus Christ and want to know for a fact you’re going to heaven if you were to die tonight, there is a way you can be sure. Remember… God is not mad at you! He isn't counting your sins and holding them against you. He wants to have a personal relationship with you, yes YOU and that He sent Jesus, His only Son, to shed His blood, die on the cross, and then be raised from the dead. He did all that so that you can be set free from the bondage of sin and the fear of death, and enters into eternal life.  Nowhere in the bible does it say the prayer of salvation ‘sinners prayer’ means nothing and you’re not saved until you learn and go through things. In face the bible declares the very opposite…
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
One of the biggest lies of the enemy is to say wait saying things like, you have more time, you have to do this and do that first….but that is wrong. The bible declares in Proverbs 27 that tomorrow is promised to no man and no one knows when their time is up here on earth. So, if you love Jesus or would want to get to know him, the one who is closer than a brother. Do not let anyone discourage you from saying the prayer of Salvation!
Romans 10:13
"Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

"Whosoever" that means you!

Say with our mouths

Verse 9 and 10 tell us that if we say with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we "shall be saved".

It's that easy

Verse 9 and 10 tell us how easy it is to receive salvation (eternal life with God).

Now, if you don’t know how to ask Jesus to save you, or you don’t know how to go about praying, then say this prayer out loud right now and mean it with all your heart:

"Dear God, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. So God, I now say that I believe You raised Jesus from the dead and that He is alive and well. I accept Him now as my personal Lord and Savior. I accept my salvation from sin right now.

Now... if you are 'The church, the body of Christ",  already saved, born again, baptized, a Christian or follower of Christ then you Pay Attention...

Don't you dare discourage anyone from saying the sinner's prayer/prayer of salvation. By doing so you are keeping people from the kingdom.  Jesus says to come as you are.... no where does it say in the bible that you have to go through things first and nowhere in the bible does it say the sinners prayer doesn't mean anything!!!! If someone is saying the 'sinner's prayer' or prayer of salvation.... then leave them alone or encourage them but don't you dare tell someone that prayer means nothing!!! No one is going to say that prayer unless they mean it!!! It is not your place to judge because I'm sure you wouldn't want someone doing that to you!!!  Jesus NEVER made it difficult and neither should you!!!!
